The best course of action is to only purchase healthy snacks for your home. This way, your children will only be able to eat what’s on the shelves at home. Fruits and vegetables are the best snacks for children and you can always spice things up by adding some flavor to them. You can make these snacks look and taste good at the same time.
- Other Factors – There are certain things out of your control, such as when your child is at school or daycare. It is important to know that your child’s school is actively making sure that the children eat healthy snacks. Environmental factors are considered to be serious causes of childhood obesity. Other children may bring unhealthy snacks to school and share them with their friends, so it is your responsibility to teach your kids about the importance of a healthy snack.
